This is a per project based role, that will be completely remote (virtual).
We are looking for an experienced web designer who will be responsible for creating beautiful, custom websites for our clients. You will be working closely with Becca, our CEO & Creative Director.
We are looking for someone with excellent visual design skills and be proficient in all Adobe software applications. You must someone who is looking to learn and grow as a designer and open to receiving constructive feedback with your designs, while also proposing new and creative ideas with each project. We are looking for a creative individual who is open to new ideas and is an excellent communicator.
This role includes:
- Collaborating and conceptualizing creative ideas with the Creative Director
- Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices towards designs that are seamless and visually appealing.
- Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
- Working with Notion (CMS) as well as Slack
- Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
- Proficient design skills in Adobe XD or Figma
- Ability to design for the Mobile environment
- Good understanding of UX and creating optimal user journeys
- Creative and open to new ideas.
We are looking for someone to fulfill approximately 20-25 hours / month (with room for growth).
We are looking for someone who is personable, friendly, and has strong communication skills and multi-tasking abilities. This is someone who is incredibly organized and has experience working with creative agencies. They have general knowledge about creative processes and vernacular. This individual will be working closely with the COO and acting as an anchor for our creative team. They will help with planning and overseeing numerous projects at a time.
They will be responsible for effectively managing project schedules, and assign individuals to tasks within the project, while creating and managing the teams' schedules throughout the direction of the project.
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Communicate the project plan internally and with the client (via Email)
- Communicate frequently with team via Slack
- Know the team’s strengths and weaknesses, together and individually
- Plan around the team’s skills to ensure end success
- Answer emails from contact forms and general inquiries in timely and professional manner
- Use Notion (CMS) to keep the projects organized and clients aware of deadlines
